Dr. Melissa Griffin

Clinical Psychologist

I work with adults struggling with a broad range of mood and anxiety disorders and have specialized training in trauma-related conditions, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). I believe in helping people see how their past experience, present circumstances and future goals can impact their well being. In other words, I encourage my clients to be present in the moment and to avoid getting stuck thinking about the past or worrying too much about the future.

I firmly believe that everyone has the ability and strength to work through difficult issues, even though it might not always feel that way. I am passionate about my work and I feel very fortunate to work with a diverse group of individuals as they take steps toward positive change in their lives.
