Dr. Patsy Sutherland
In my clinical practice with adults, I work collaboratively to tailor treatment to each individual’s particular needs. Drawing on Emotion-Focused, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, I strive to provide both the specific skills and expertise, and a warm, empathic relationship that will enable individuals to work through their difficulties, grow and thrive.
As a clinician of Caribbean origin, I have expertise in working with culturally diverse populations and different conceptualizations of psychological distress; I work with the mind, body, and spirit in providing culturally-competent care.
